Case Study: “Hi, Speech Therapist” in Use Experience from the Krasnoyarsk Children's Neuropsychiatric Boarding School “Podsolnukh”

We, T.A. Lepina (speech therapist) and G.V. Mironchuk (special education teacher), began using the “Hi, Speech Therapist!” trainer in September 2023. Our group included 10 children aged 7–12. All participants had severe systemic underdevelopment of all speech structures, along with moderate intellectual disabilities (F-71 diagnosis).
We started with the “Sounds” section. Each child followed an individual repetition plan. Two children began vocalizing; three learned to pronounce two-vowel syllables; two mastered open syllables.
All lessons were conducted using exercises from the “Hi, Speech Therapist!” trainer. Your tool has been a great help in working with our children – thank you!
